Nursery
Today was the big day. Anna went to nursery for the first time. Devin had the responsibility of dropping her off. He said he set her down in the hall, she walked in, and didn't look back. She walked right up to the table, sat down and started coloring. She didn't even say good-bye. I looked in on her when I was done with music time in Jr. and Senior primary. Both times she was doing great. The only hard part was that since Devin was teaching and I am primary chorister, neither one of us get done with our callings quickly. I packed things up as fast as I could and went to get her. Poor girl was the last one in there and you could tell she was quite concerned because all of her friends had left with their moms and dads. Why did she have to stay? I guess we will need to work on getting there quicker so she isn't the last one left. Overall, it went really well. She had fun coloring and painting, or at least the pictures look like she did. When I asked her if she learned about baptism, she kept saying the word baptism over and over. Pretty cute if you ask me. Hopefully next week will go just as well.

Wish I could be her Nursery Leader. She looks so adorable in her new dress. I can just imagine her talking all about Nursery each week. This is such a new and exciting time!
The conclusion I have come to regarding sending kids to nursery. Boys have a hard time seperating from Mommy. Girls however do not. so far all 3 of my boys gave me a hard time about going to nursery but Claire did not. We will see if this holds true when Ruby goes in a year :)
So glad to hear that she is fine with going to nursery. That is a great plus. maybe you could have the nursery leader bring her to you if she is the last one. Cute Anna!
Wow, that transition is impressive! I thought Devin looked unusually relaxed in Sunday School!
I can't believe she's old enough to go to nursery! Time flies! I bet they are so excited to have such a cutie in there!
That is awesome! It is always great when they go to nursery, they have so much fun!
Yeah for being 18 months old and getting to go to nursery!! That is great that she had no problems! It makes you as a parent feel good knowing she is having a good time.
I can't believe how big Anna is. What a cutie!
when I dropped off Rachel, Anna was clawing at the door but she was not crying. I bet she was a bit nervous but it sounds like she did pretty well her first day. I love that dress you made for her! She is so stinkin cute!
