Would it surprise anyone to know that I never really played with dolls growing up? I was a social doll player. I played because my friends wanted to. I liked to set things up, but that was about it. The few dolls I had, I never changed their hair. I would only brush it a bit if I thought it was in need of a little touch up.
So I am realizing I have a big problem. Anna's hair is growing and that means that I'm going to have to start doing something with her hair. I made my first attempt at fixing Anna's hair this last week. We call it the Horn-Do. What do you think?
I think I need serious help. I know with her hair still as short as it is, it is harder to do stuff. Any suggestions? Are their You Tube videos that show how to do little girl's hair really cute? Perhaps a library book? I'm sure there are easy cute things to do, I'm just not very smart in that area at all.

I would just buy the tiny snap clips or I can show you the tiny hair clips I have made. They are super easy.
I have an idea...perhaps you should come see me. I can help you make fun clips/bows. What a great idea! Dont you think?
I personally prefer the clipped out of your face look to the horns look. Target and Walmart sell super small claw clips that are perfect for little girls hair. Also, I have stumbeled across a few blogs about girls hair, I'm sure there are plenty out there about babies hair too--good luck!
Anna's horns are pretty sweet. hehe. maybe you should just use two little rubber bands for 2 little pony tails...i have seen lots of little girls with their hair like that. kind of like two little water fountains poking out of their head and a little further back on the head.
There are a lot of videos on you tube about cute ways to do hair. I've watched them. You will learn how to in time, it just takes some practice. Ask people how they do stuff and then experiment. There are also books that have step by step instructions to do cool stuff. I can show you some cool things I've learned the next time you are up here, like how to french braid, if you don't know how.
Oh I would put a cute clip in her hair. that is all I could do with claire for a while. I must admit I am not a very good hair doer either. I just learned how to make hair bows. I am going to make some this week for Anna and send them to you. !!!
there is this blog called
cute2tryhairdos.blogspot.com, it is for older girls, with lots more help, but it goes step by step with pictures along the way. As for now, just cute pigtails with bows or something, or clips are always fun. Sorry for the run on sentence.
Just get some gel and spike it all. . . and while you're at it. . blue is in.
I have a list of hair blogs on the side of mine. There might be a few ideas there. I think they are mostly older girls though. The clips work great, just don't let her eat them!
I am excited for you to learn how to fix Anna's hair in all sorts of cute ways. Putting your hair in braids was about as fancy as I could do.
