We had a wonderful Christmas.
Anna was excited to wear her new dress to church the Sunday before Christmas. Of course she wouldn't sit still or smile nice.
Nicholas looked so handsom. I love love love his bow tie.
A miracle happened, we had a white Christmas. I can't remember the last time we had a white Christmas. The kids spend quite a bit of the day playing in the snow.
Devin was so nice to watch the kids and shovel the snow. There was a lot.
We made cookies for Santa.
Then we went over to my mom's house for Christmas eve.
The kids always have a great time doing the Nativity.
Anna was Mary again. I'm not quite sure how she won that role. Abigail was pretty set on being Mary.
Nicholas was a wise man because he wanted to hold the camel and the little bottle.
We had the kids to bed at a somewhat decent time. Santa didn't even have to stay up too late. Santa sure was glad that the trains came with all the batteries they needed. He hadn't really thought about that. LUCKY!!!
Nick's stash.
Anna's stash.
Family present.
Anna and Nicholas were awesome. They slept in until 8am. Way to go!!! We know that at some point they will start getting up early, but for now we still love sleeping in.
Anna was so excited to get her princess kit. She loves to draw and color and paint. (Thank you Costco for a dirt cheap jumbo art kit!!!) Anna also got a bed for her doll and a new Cinderella doll. Santa was also so nice and made a bunch of doll clothes for her dolls.
Nicholas was tickled pink with is OWN Geo Trax train. Devin had a great time combining all of our existing track with Nick's new track. That boy loves trains. He also got a bulldozer and a big car.
It was such a nice slow paced day. We slept in. Opened presents. Ate cinnamon rolls. Then later
we went over to my mom's and had dinner with the family. It was a really nice Christmas.
