Christmas Music
Tis the season to be jolly! This is a great time of the year for really good music. I am one that feels very strongly that it is an abomination to listen to Christmas music before Thanksgiving, unless it is snowing. But once Thanksgiving is over I am ok with listening to Christmas music 24 hours a day. There are SO many good Christmas CDs out there. I try and fill my day with lots of good Christmas music so that I don't have all the cheesy Elementary School Christmas songs stuck in my head. You know classic songs like Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer and Must Be Santa. (It's ok to sing along, it's stuck in my head right now....Must be Santa. Must be Santa. Must be Santa, Santa Claus.) Each year there are new Christmas CDs that I fall in love with. This year it's Josh Groban's Noel CD. Who wouldn't want to listen to him sing all day long? All I have to say is it's about time he put out a Christmas CD. He even sings with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. Way to go Josh! Other favorite CDs include: Jim Brickman, Mariah Carey, Celine Dion, Jewel, Lonestar, The Osmonds, Frank Sinatra (SOOO GOOD!), and Barbra Streisand. Oh, and don't forget BNL. What are some of all of your favorite Christmas CDs?

I'm starting to get jealous of Josh and his voice... but, when push comes to shove, Julie DID marry ME.
My favorite right now is Clay Aiken, I also love the Amy Grant one too. Oh and how can I forget John Denver and the Muppets. ( my kids love this one too). I actually started listening to Christmas music on November 1st. Shame on me.
Well, I certainly don't feel that it's an abomination to listen to Christmas music year round, if I could I would listen to it 24/7/365.
I'm still looking for my favorite, maybe I'll listen to Josh a little. My most listened to song is "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen" by BNL. Most listened to album is probably Pooh and Friends Christmas (Think Tigger singing "Oh Christmas Tree") courtesy of the little people in my life.
Must Be Santa? I've never heard of that one. At the Cooper's we have always listened to the Oakridge Boys. My dad has put it on after Thanksgiving dinner every year that I can remember, this year was no different. Although I do like that cd, I don't really listen to much in the way of cds especially since a couple of the radio stations play plenty of Christmas music this time of year, but I do have a compilation cd that I listen to quite a bit around this time of year.
Travis
I want that CD so bad. I have been trying to find it here in Australia. I am sure it is somewhere since he came and sang at the Opera House.
They have it on i Tunes! You don't even have to leave your home to get it.
Thanks for the info!!
Oh, I forgot one of my favorites... The Nutcracker.
