What do you do when your baby is sick and can't go outside? You work on all those projects that are haunting the house. This is one of my sewing projects. I really like how it is turning out. The problem is that I have hit a small roadblock. What should I do now, other than sew it together? I LOVE the blocks. How should I finish it so it still looks good. Any suggestions? How many borders should I do? How should I do them? HELP!!!!!

Very cute! I'm impressed. And if it were me, I would do a 2 borders one red and one blue. Good luck finishing.
no suggestions because i am a non-quilter...but the pattern is so pretty!!!! good job.
p.s. the chipmans last thursday on our shift was last night. they are off to nauvoo for 6 months with the Churchs and the Eikbushs. i will miss them all a lot!
Fun quilt!
I would agree with two boarders... I would do the inner one skinny like maybe 1-2 inches and the outer one bigger like 5-6 inches. As for the colors... that just depends on your preference. I would do an inner blue one and an outer tan one and then maybe bind it in red
Apparently Marthe and I are on the same wave length. I was going to suggest the same thing. Two borders - blue and tan - blue being thin and tan thicker. And bind with red. I can't wait to see how it turns out.
