Kaitlyn's Baptism

Our niece Kaitlyn was baptized on December 15th.  I have a pretty extreme fear of driving in the snow and I knew for months that it would probably be a blizzard that weekend.  Lucky for us the snow wasn't too horrible.  We really didn't want to miss Katie's special day.
The baptism was really special.  Katie looked beautiful.  It was fun to see all the Idaho Baldwins.
That night after the baptism we went with Kyle, Kat, and the girls to their ward Christmas party.  We were joking that it was about time we went to one of their ward parties because we have been to their ward more than any other ward next to our own.
Nicholas loved all the food.
He thought the snowman centerpieces were pretty cute too.
Anna went right up with all the primary kids and sang several Christmas songs.  This is their whole primary, crazy how small their primary is!  Or maybe our primary is just ridiculously huge.
The kids were also excited to see Santa.

I am not quite sure how it started, but any time you asked Nicholas what he wanted for Christmas all he would say is, "Banana."  I hope he is that easy to please every year.
Anna was thrilled to get a candy cane.  She looked at me and said, "J for Jesus!"  Good job Anna.
The kids had a great time running around the church.  Ashley is so good to keep and eye on them.
That night after the kids went to bed we had fun talking and playing Ticket to Ride with Kyle and Kat. We had never played that game and I am happy to report that I won, and I didn't cheat like my husband and his brother.  :)
We were able to make it home before another big snow storm hit the next day, so that was really nice.  We sure love the Baldwin family.  It was so good to see all of them.
