Disneyland Day #4

We were excited to head back to Disneyland on Thursday for more fun.  We spent quite a bit of time in Fantasy Land.  We did the classics Peter Pan, Mr. Toad, the Carrousel, Dumbo, and Pinocchio.  We also spent quite a bit of time trying to get the sword out of the stone.

 I think Nicholas was the closest to getting it out. :)

 We did more quality time on the Tea Cups.  Sometime I am going to be able to go on it with some friends who really want to get it spinning.  It is one of my favorites!!!

Anna made a little friend while waiting in line for the Nemo Submarine ride.  They had fun talking and laughing through the whole thing.  It was pretty cute.

Anna was pretty excited to meet Tinker Bell.  We had heard from our neighbors that is was worth waiting to meet her.  They were right!!!!  The kids did well waiting in the line.

 Periwinkle was probably my favorite character that the kids met all week.  She was so much fun!!!

 Tinker bell was pretty funny too.  Nicholas really had a good time talking and joking around with her.

 Tinker bell and Periwinkle kept shouting through the grass to each other, talking, singing, screaming...it was pretty funny.

 Anna loved every second.  It was one of her magical moments of the trip.

It was a bit colder this day and in the later afternoon it started raining pretty bad for a bit.  We were glad we were prepared with coats and blankets.  We bundled the kids up and kept going.  The pay off came with NO lines at all.  Nicholas fell asleep and so Anna was able to go on a lot of the big rides.  We were able to go on Splash Mountain 5 times in a row.  I have been when the lines are short and you hop off and run around and hop right back on, but they just let us stay on the ride because there was no one in line at all.  Anna and I went twice and then Devin took her another three times.  She actually cried the last time when the guy told her that she couldn't just stay on the ride and that she would have to walk around again.  Funny Anna.  Here is one of our great pictures.  You can see we are the only ones on the log. 

For Nicholas the magical moment was "meeting" Buzz Lightyear.  We could have parked him on the Buzz ride and he would have just gone around and around.  I wish we had a picture of the look on his face the first time he saw Buzz.  

We were glad that we stuck it out through the rain.  The park was completely dead after that.  I love the parks when they are slow.  You can just let your kids free and not worry so much about them getting lost in the crowds.  Yes, another fun day had by all.
